1030 System

1030 Lab

We don't only install technology.
We develop it.

1030 Lab is our research and development practice — where architectural thinking, Nigerian craft and intelligent systems are prototyped into original products of our own.

A smart lock rooted in contemporary African architectural identity.

1030 Lab smart lock concept — draped silhouette study

1030 System is currently exploring the development of an original smart lock design rooted in contemporary African architectural identity. As a collaboration with Nigerian craftsmen, artists, and designers, the project aims to develop a smart lock silhouette that reflects culture through form, materiality, and detail — while integrating intelligent multi-access systems with the simplicity and sophistication expected of modern architectural technology.

The intention behind the initiative is to integrate technology and Nigerian cultural expression into modern development while maintaining visual coherence within contemporary architectural design spaces. The piece, infused with fashion and craftsmanship, is designed to deliver prime functionality, exclusivity, cultural identity, and technological advancement within one refined intelligent access system.
